Young Wellington founders to open second car detailing studio in Christchurch
Two young Wellington founders are expanding their fast-growing premium car detailing brand, Clean Car Collective, with a second studio set to open in Christchurch in February 2025.
The pair, who launched the business in Wellington just over 2 years ago, have grown the company from the back of a Subaru Legacy into one of Wellington’s #1 premium car detailing providers. Their focus on quality workmanship, modern techniques, and a customer-first service model has helped the brand gain a loyal following among European and performance vehicle owners.

The studio will offer full detailing, paint correction, machine polishing, and ceramic coating services, using upgraded equipment and controlled lighting bays designed for precision work. A small, locally based team will operate the new site, trained directly by the founders to match the standards of the Wellington workshop.
The move is part of a wider plan to expand CCC’s footprint nationwide, beginning with Christchurch as its South Island base.
“Our goal is simple — bring a higher standard of detailing to more regions. Christchurch has the vehicles, the demand, and the community for it. We’re excited to build something special there.”
Clean Car Collective will open limited launch bookings in early February, with priority given to customers who pre-register. More studio details, along with founder profiles and opening-week offers, will be released later this month.
